Sonny's Farm is a small, diversified operation in Leelanau County, Michigan. The 13 acre farm is situated along M-22 between Little Traverse Lake and Sleeping Bear National Lakeshore. We are a diversified system that integrates pigs, family dairy cow, a flock of laying hens, and seasonal vegetables/flowers for a small roadside stand. We also offer baked goods on occasion including homemade granola and molasses cookies.
The farm's mission is to provide high quality food by adhering to ecological farming principles.
The community that surrounds the farm is also what sustains it. We strive for an open and honest dialogue with our customers about our farming practices. This transparency allows the community to trust us in keeping the air, water, and soil clean, and to treat our animals with the respect they deserve.
